About me
Who I am
A little bit about my background, where I'm from, and where I'm headed.
I'm Farbod Foroutani, a 19-year-old Computer Science student at York University's Lassonde School of Engineering, based in Toronto. I'm currently in my third year, pursuing a BA in CS with plans to continue into a Master's degree.
Originally from Iran, I'm a driven builder with a competitive edge — I won a gold medal at the Iran Mathematics Olympiad. I bring that same intensity to everything I build.
Beyond code, I'm a certified boxing coach and ISSA-certified personal trainer and nutritionist, with a provincial gold medal in boxing from Khorasan Razavi. I'm also building a matchmaking platform called Boxjob.

RoadLog — Driver Trip Management
Full-stack SaaS platform replacing paper-based truck driver trip sheets with a modern web app, built solo from database design to deployment. Drivers log 14-day trip sheets, upload POD/PTI photos per stop, and export professional PDF reports matching industry-standard formats. Admins manage driver accounts, track trips and KM in real time, assign loads via a dispatch board, and export CSV reports.

Selected after completing Microsoft's final-round interview process focused on software engineering, problem-solving, and technical communication. Working with engineering teams on real-world software projects impacting millions of users globally, collaborating with mentors and participating in technical workshops and intern programs.
